Humans don't understand scale

While humans may have conquered the binary system and understand linearly scaling metrics of Thousands, Millions, Billions, Trillions. We don't intuitively understand the shift in scale. A shift from base 10 to base 6 would be super dramatic. While we probably couldn't fathom what a log function of a series even means.
