Awaara(1951)

Awaara(1951) ★★★ Aawaara gives us a taste of "the pull of poverty", an idea I've written about. The systematic pull of poverty that doesn't let the poor out of it's clutches. An act of thievery for survival in the past, haunts the current changed man's intentions to do good and puts him in jeopardy. "Awaara hoon" is a one heck of a banger song that (figuratively) screams about loneliness and a lack on belongingness.
